One of my favorite things about photography is that I get to connect with so many wonderful people. Hi! I'm Kristi. I live in Maryland with my husband, our two daughters and our assortment of pets.
Aside from photography, I love exploring nature trails with my family, thrifting for treasures and cozying up with a good book. Every little thing brings new inspiration and reminds me of the beauty in everyday life.
When I was 11, I submitted a photo for judging at the local 4-H fair and it has since been a tucked away hobby of mine. A close friend gave me the nudge I needed to reignite that passion, and I couldn’t be more thankful! Every moment has its own magic, and capturing those authentic, heartfelt instances is what truly makes photography special for me. I'm passionate about creating images that not only reflect the beauty of the occasion but also the genuine emotions of those involved.

I was born in Maryland but..
I've lived in South Carolina, Michigan (briefly) and Colorado. My husband and I actually met while we were both working in Colorado.
When I was a kid
I was lucky to be involved in bunch of different activities including 4-H, Girl Scouts, Basketball, Softball, Earth Kids Club & more.
I love to read
Recently, my reading material has mostly been homeschooling related; however, I still enjoy a captivating novel and a good true crime podcast.
Bring on the mess
I've handled livestock, mucked through swamps and wrangled toddlers during my sessions. If I haven't seen it already, bring it on. I'm not afraid to get some dirt under my nails and do what it takes to "get the shot".

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. Also, rainy day photographs can be dreamy.
